On Friday, the nationally syndicated show "Maury" will welcome
guests with devastating phobias, and one of them is a Sioux
Falls [South Dakota] waitress who is afraid of pickles,
according to a press release.

Mariah Lemke, 18,… says she is paralyzed by her fear of pickles.
Because of her phobia, Lemke says she is teased incessantly in
school, and classmates call her the “pickle girl.”

“I hate pickles, I hate everything about them,” says Lemke.
“People make fun of me and I feel ashamed.”…

"Maury", one of the most insulting and worthless programs of all

Povich Show", it has been on the air since 1991, a fact which I
consider to be proof that the world is living on borrowed time.
Of course, if Ms. Lemke wants to humiliate herself by appearing
on a sleazy program to discuss her pickle phobia, then that’s
certainly her business. I won’t be watching, that’s for sure.

Well, if you have an irrational fear of pickles than waitressing is sure the
job you want -- what with pickles on or alongside all sandwiches most
places.....

Well I think it safe to suggest you watched enough times to know the show is
bad. I agree but I can't name one talk show I watch all the time because
the commercials ruin it and its too slow. I like court tv, its fast, the
cases change and you get a little therapy thrown in.
